How does the german word "weil" affect this sentences word order?

"Ich mag Sprowston weil es gibt eine Parke nah mein Haus. "

I hope this means: "I like Sprowston because there is a park near my house."

I want to know if the word order needs to be different because I always get confused with weil, sometimes ich goes to the end and sometimes the verb does and I get so confused.

Thank you|||"Weil" is a subordinating conjunction; therefore, the finite verb (in this case, 'gibt') should be moved to the very end of the sentence.

There are a couple other things wrong here...'Parke' doesn't exist in German; the word is 'Park' and it's masculine. Therefore, in the Accusativ (required as the DO of 'geben') one would have 'einen Park.'

Next, 'nah' is an adjective and doesn't work in the construction you have. You can choose between two formulae: 1. nahe + Dativ OR 2. in der N盲he + Genitiv. (Technically, to avoid the Genitiv, many Germans use a 'von' after 'N盲he,' in which case you would need the Dativ. This is because the Genitiv is becoming less and less used. Your teacher, however, probably would want the Genitiv because it shows more sophistication in writing).

For # 1., 'Haus' is neuter, so it becomes 'nahe meinem Haus.' Likewise, for # 2., 'in der N盲he meines Hauses.' (OR, if you're a native German: 'in der N盲he von meinem Haus').

The sentence now reads, "Ich mag Sprowston, weil es einen Park nahe meinem Haus gibt."

OR "Ich mag Sprowston, weil es einen Park in der N盲he meines Hauses gibt." (better version is #2)

German is a very difficult language, and you might not have already been exposed to these cases. Anyway, this may prove a good introduction to the case system if you haven't learned it.

Viel Gl眉ck mit deinen Studien!|||The verb goes to the end after "weil".

I think your sentence should be:

"Ich mag Sprowston, weil ein Park in der N盲he von meinem Haus liegt".|||Ich mag Sprowston, weil es einen Park nahe meinem Haus gibt.
