I do think that Ronan's audition performance comes across as a bit feminine - more for the choice of song and the way he was dressed - although tight jeans seem to be part of the really modern fashion these days. Watching his stunning semifinal and final performances gives a much more 'balanced' view.
Is he gay? To be honest, at 12 he's probably not too sure about the matter of his sexuality anyway. And if he is gay... does it really matter? He is one extremely talented boy - who deserved to win Britain's Got Talent.
The fact that it was a 'telephone' (public' vote) was always going to skew the results, because the general public has almost no music/talent recognition skills. Proof of that was in some of the other acts that were 'voted' into the final - ie. a very average impersonator, a pianist with a skill level of about grade 4, a woman on a keyboard who couldn't sing for toffee, a weird old man dancing, a boy band with cute looks and snazzy moves who couldn't sing in tune... need anyone go on? It makes you very sad for some of the other very good semifinal acts that missed out because of the 'public' voting. The 'final-worthy' acts were Jai, Ronan, Michael, Razy, and, perhaps, New Bounce (once they get their pitching sorted out. (auto-tune, anyone?)|||Ronan Parke is so talented, its sad how culture judge people. I think that people will eventually ruin Ronans spirit by the way they are slinging this slag. Ronan is one of the most talented young artist since Declan Galbraith. I wish Ronan the very best of fortunes, he is simply amazing.

|||My favourite (probably nonsense) rumour about the whole BGT thing was that the production staff, realising he doesn't come across as all that macho, decided to make him all emo as a compromise. But after a couple of wardrobe sessions they realised that nowadays people are much more accepting of gay and much less accepting of emo, so thought "**** it, let's keep him gay"
He's twelve. It's too soon for him to know, let alone anyone else.|||I don't know. But my friend just 'liked' the page 'Ronan Parke, making Justin Bieber look straight since 2011' on facebook. LOLZ. *eye roll*. I don't watch BGT, but seriously if this boy is only twelve, then people saying he is 'gay' because he is not manly enough is just bloody ludicrous.|||He's only 12, a kid, don't be so stupid. He probably hasn't even got to even thinking about that yet. And if he realised that he was gay, so what? Is it any of our or your business? He is a great singer with a lot of potential and seems a throughly nice kid as well. Leave it at that.|||I'm not hating, I like him enough that I'd consider myself a fan.
But I'd be shocked if he was straight, he's most likely gay or bi. Either way it's his business and I'm glad the British media hasn't made a big deal about his sexuality.|||Why is everyone categorising already? he is so young, and doesn't need to be labelled already as things he might not even be.
My 2 cents :)|||Of course not, he's only 12! He's much too young to have any idea about his sexuality! Leave him alone, I bet the haters are just jealous cos he has so much potential.|||100% gay, I thought he was a girl at first he's that gay.|||gay|||I don't think he even knows.|||100% Straight...
I LOVE RONAN PARKE! So what if he wears designer clothes? Doesnt mean he's gay...
