What do 'Bounce high for her' and 'high-bouncing lover' mean?

Then wear the gold hat, if that will move her;

If you can bounce high, bounce for her too,

Till she cry 鈥楲over, gold-hatted, high-bouncing lover,

I must have you!鈥?br>

鈥擳HOMAS PARKE D鈥橧NVILLIERS

Does 'high-bouncing lover' have any specific metaphorical meaning or it's as easy as it is?|||I don't know any specific meaning but knowing Scott Fitzgerald it could easily have a sexual conotation.

I assume you were aware that D'Invilliers is Fitzgerald using a pen-name
