Does anyone think Jai Mcdowall will be a success?

I was really surprised that he won, but i was glad because i hought he was brilliant. Its obvious that Ronan Parke pretty much has a contract, but do you think Jai will be a flop or a success? Im not too sure tbh, he didnt appear like a winner, but im really glad he won - will he be successful or not?|||A 'success' doesn't have to mean always appearing of television or having a pop career with video's shown on MTV. Diversity won last year; we haven't 'seen' much of them on TV but they have enjoyed sell-out tours. Susan Boyle has never done a tour but she has broken the record for being the only homegrown solo artist to twice having a number one album simultaneously in both the UK and the USA - and is now a millionairess. Jai has a wonderful, powerful voice which will fit into many categories and there is no reason he should not be as popular as Michael Buble - or others just as famous. Although his winning seems to have surprised many - including the judges who seemed certain the youngsters would win it - he is a deserved winner and will go on to have a successful career for many years to come. Well done, Jai!|||Success/popular as stage performer in UK? Yes. (same as former G4, Rhydian, Jonathan Ansell, Russel Watson).

Commercially success in album sales in UK? yes, but 1st album only, and continue to next albums if he success in building solid loyal fans. Paul Potts second album is a flop right??

Commercially success in album sales worldwide? No, the same case as other male popera singers in the world with exception of Andrea Bocelli (13 albums with total almost 70 million copies) and Josh Groban (5 albums with total almost 30 million copies). Even I considered Josh Groban is not successful worldwide since his albums 95% sold in US while Andrea Bocelli gain success worldwide.|||He is only a success because of a massive campaign of Scots voting, both in scotlland and elsewhere. No he wont do anything. He has no character and you can imagine him swilling beer,or perhaps whiskey? Like so many other of their winners he wont be heard of again like the ones who came first and second last year on x factor, yet the lovely one direction who came 3rd is storming ahead with a single this month. Last night was similar when susan boyle came secont to the dance act diversity. We all know the success susan became before she retired. Scotland,by their own choice, does not want to be British any more. They dont want to be a part of an ancient nation, perhaps the most successfull nation in history, this man cant have it two ways.Perhaps it would be better to wait until simon starts Scotland,s got talent. The voting figures for the final were jay 29.1% Ronan 26.7% new bounce 8.4% razi 8.1% on ronans semifinal on monday he took 61.6% of the entire vote.|||the first tme i heard Jai i thought he had a great voice, but i can see him more as in a musical such as les miserable than as a solo artist.

At least a person with real talent won the contest,

not someone with bulging eyes

but i also think Ronan iwas good enough to also win.|||I think he'll be a very successful broadway star or anthem singer, i'd buy his album even if he just sung the phone book!|||He already is a success, even if he never releases a record.|||Jai will be in the star light for less that 2 seconds. Ronan is the real winner!|||Yes, I do, maybe in West End Musicals if not as a solo artist. I also thought he was brilliant.|||no i didnt enjoy watching him at all should of been Ronan
