Does anyone know the signifigance of Keytsville, IN?

What is Keystvile, Indiana? Why is it marked on the back roads to the Coverd Bridge Festival in Parke County Indiana?|||The only town I can find that's similar to your different spellings is "Keytesville" but it's in Missouri, not Indiana. So I have no idea what town you're looking for.

However, I did find a website for Parke County and covered bridges... check out the link I put for the source and explore that, maybe you'll find what you're looking for.|||Keytsville is a crossroad on the putnam/parke county lines and at a crossroads, it is a navigational point on a road map nowadays. I built the stone wall and put in the boulder with the "site of keystville"

carvings. It used to have a country store and dance hall there, all gone now.

|||The whole point of marking the place is to retain the memory of what once was, most of the locals who remember all that, are now deceased. The 1930's steel wheeled tractor and plow were placed there purely for decoration. I own that corner and decided to put it to this use.
