Here are 7 things you didn't know about drugs?

1. Heroin was launched as a medicine by Felix Hoffman, an employee of Bayer, only a few days after he invented aspirin. Bayer immediately applied for a trademark on the term "heroin," then began marketing the drug as a cure for morphine addiction. It was also marketed as cough syrup for children.

2. Parke-Davis, a subsidiary of Pfizer, promoted and sold cocaine. It even produced a "cocaine injection kit" complete with a syringe for shooting up. Skeptical? You can view the picture yourself by clicking www.NewsTarget.com/gallery/articles/Park鈼?br>

3. A subsidiary of Novartis, Sandoz Laboratories, introduced the world to LSD in 1938, marketing it as a psychiatric drug named Delysid. This same drug company also created saccharin, the artificial chemical sweetener.

4. Drug giant Merck pioneered the commercial manufacture of morphine from opium and was a heavy pusher and marketer of cocaine. Merck also patented MDMA (Ecstasy, the rave drug). After World War II, Merck also|||God put drugs on this earth to be used for sickness, pain, and spiritual enlightenment. Man wants to exploit drugs for the riches. This is the real problem is the government and drug companies think they should dictate price and control for something that should be available to all.|||Some of the stuff that you say about drugs is true... however most of the problems are caused by them being made illegal and "Big Pharma" had little to do with that. If any drug got on the list because of corporate America it was Pot... and was from the people that brought you nylon... not aspirin.. I do happen to agree that the "War on Drugs" is a huge wast of manpower and money and should be ended... but for different reasons... like mostly it has been a colossal failure.... I believe that Government should sell at a reasonable price (to discourage the black market) *ALL* controlled substances... with the caveat that users are fully responsible for actions while under the influence and can't sue anyone for the effects on their own bodies.... Part of the "profits" from the drug sales should be set aside for any users that become sane and chose rehab.... alcohol would also fall under this category.|||Errr no. The reason that those drugs that you mention are illegal is that they are extremely powerful drugs that are often more powerful than the people taking them - hence they become addicts. The vast majority of prescription drugs are created to help people with a condition that they had no control over and the drug allows them to lead their lives - regardless of what that entails. Without it some of them may even die.

All of the examples you have metioned are in the past when knowledge wasn't so great about the affects of these drugs or even the condition of addcition. Drug dealers on the streets couldn't give a sh*t if they kill all of their clients with the drugs they sell as long as they have their money, their gold chains, their tinted window BMWs and all the drug dependent white gilrs they can manipulate. Most people who work in corporation (a legal one) belive it or not - work for money as well. The difference is they really do give a sh*t if they kill someone - because they have to answer for it and they could be jailed for it.

I wouldn't be surprised to know that you personally take any of the drugs that you mention and well if you need that to get through life that is your problem - and it is ahuge one that no-one else can help you with. But never try to tell those who have education that any of these drugs are justifiable in any way.

One of the strongest photos I have ever seen was released by a family who lost their daughter at seventeen years old from heroin addiction. The photo was the photo that the police took when they discovered her off-blue and patchy bloated red body in a messy apratment in Portsmouth. Illegal drugs kill - that's the arguement. Who gives a sh*t about the friggin money.|||And your question is?|||Suggestions:

Create a website with this information, and post the link in a question.

Provide references to your research.

If you have a method or additional tactics for ending the war on drugs, obviously a miserable failure for the results provided, please so state.

Public awareness of the big pharma corporate methodology is so averse to the 'benefits' of complacency.|||Can you round out the "Big Three" by providing similar information for sex and rock %26amp; roll ?|||so you want drugs to be legal..right..well we do have laws and I would be to bet that if you're caught with illegal drugs..you're going to jail
